Our Mission
At Chess With Christopher, our mission is simple, to make learning chess fun, confidence-building, and rewarding for everyone. We believe chess is more than just a game; it’s a tool to develop critical thinking, patience, and problem-solving skills that last a lifetime.
Meet Coach Christopher
Hi, I'm Christopher! the dedicated coach behind Chess With Christopher.
I have been teaching chess to kids for a few years now, and I absolutely love seeing how this powerful game helps children grow in confidence, focus, and strategy. Whether your child is brand new to the board or already making great moves, my mission is to guide them with patience, structure, and fun.
I work with families who want more than just a lesson, they want a mentor their kids can connect with. And that’s what I bring to every session.
CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
Coach Chris didn’t just teach my son chess, he helped him build confidence in himself. Before we found Chris, Liam struggled with focus and didn’t have many hobbies. After just a few sessions, his focus improved and he started loving chess. Now, he’s entering his first tournament and couldn’t be more proud of himself!
- Maria Thompson (Parent of Liam, Age 9)
Coach Chris makes learning chess fun. I used to think it was boring, now it’s my favorite thing. He helped me go from a total beginner to someone who can confidently play at my school’s chess club. He’s patient, cool, and really understands how to teach.
– High School Student (Kayla, Age 14)
My daughter was the only girl in her chess group, and Coach Chris made her feel seen and supported. Chloe used to be nervous, but Chris helped her realize her strength. She’s now the top-ranked player in her class, and she’s preparing for a local tournament this fall!
- Darren Fields (Parent of Chloe, Age 11)
We love Coach Chris! Both of my kids (ages 7 and 10) look forward to their lessons each week. He makes it fun, and they’re learning so much without even realizing it.
